Vick was born in the holler in Carswell, West Virginia. He bought his first banjo 34 years ago for $35. Prior to that he worked in the coal mines, broke and trained horses, done machinest work, drove a taxi, served six years in the service, and opened the first Indian Motorcycle dealership in Michigan in 1999-2010. He recently picked up his business and moved south to Kingsport, Tennessee. Formerly known as Indian Motorcycle Leslie now he is building a reputation for Tennessee Sounds.
Sandy Jenkins
Sandy is the mother of two children and four grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She was born and raised in Michigan where she was a Realtor for over 20 years. She and Vic met while she was taking guitar lessons from him. She knew she was love struck after she heard Vic's smooth and perfect G chord. They married July 4th 2009, and they moved to Kingsport, Tennessee in October 2010 to escape the cold winters of Leslie Michigan.
